Burying animals after they die
Question: 105365
I want to ask you about vermin such like snakes and other insects. If Allah gives me the power to kill it, should I bury it or leave it on the ground?.
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.
The matter is broad in scope, because there is no text of sharee’ah which states that it is prescribed to bury them or that doing so is forbidden. It is better to bury them lest anyone be harmed or bothered by them.
And Allah is the Source of strength. May Allah send blessing and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions. End quote.
