- What Is Hajj?
Hajj means travelling for the purpose of visiting the Ka`bah to perform the rites i.e., the actions and words reported in accounts of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) Hajj.

Whoever is able to perform Hajj and delays it for no reason has committed a great evil and a major sin. He has to repent to Allah from that and hasten to do Hajj.
- If a person does not fast six days in Shawwal, can he fast them in Dhu’l-Qa’dah?
- Is Hunting in the Sacred Months Prohibited?
There is nothing wrong with hunting in the sacred months; rather the prohibition on hunting is connected to two things: 1- Ihram for Hajj or `Umrah; 2- Hunting within the limits of the Sanctuary, which means Makkah and Madinah.

- Why Is Rajab Separate from Other Sacred Months?
The sacred months are Dhu’l-Qa‘dah, Dhu’l-Hijjah, Muharram and Rajab. Some of the scholars have stated that the wisdom behind Rajab being separate from the other sacred months was to enable the Arabs to do ‘umrah in the middle of the year, and that the consecutive months for the purpose of Hajj.
