Is it prescribed to kiss the Black Stone without doing tawaaf?

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.

"What appears to me to be the case is that kissing the Black Stone is one of the Sunnahs of tawaaf and that kissing it without doing tawaaf is not prescribed."(Majmoo‘ Fatawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen 22/326)
