have been approached by a brother for marriage, the brother is already married and has two children. He wants me to become his second wife. The brother was going to approach my wali, but I wanted to speak to my family first, I spoke to my mother, who I know isnt my wali. My mother said she will never allow my marriage to him as he is married with children. I haven't spoken to my wali as in father because of my mothers reaction. I would like to marry this brother as I feel I will benefit from him in deen, duniya and hereafter...Allah knows best. Can you please tell me what my options are to progress with this marriage.. Do I need to speak to my father? N if my father says no to marriage to this brother, can I still marry him if an imam was a guardianIs it mustahabb to wash the hands with soap?
Did the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) warn against germs and did he use soap or lote leaves? Doctors nowadays tell us that we should wash our hands often and use soap and water. But soap at the time of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was not like it is now. Should we follow the modern ways for protection or is water sufficient, as it was at the time of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? If germs are a cause of anxiety and we have to follow what we are told, then can we use lote leaves or potash instead of soap, as was done at the time of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? Will our reward be greater if we follow the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in everything, such as using potash and a little soap and water, and not to change often or own a lot of clothes?Summary of the rulings on conservatorship and bankruptcy

There is an important matter that is giving me sleepless nights, which is: what is the meaning of the differences of the imam concerning a certain issue? If I say to someone that Shaykh So and so says that something is haraam, he says to me that is according to his madhhab or the madhhab of his country, and we follow a different madhhab that says it is halaal. This led me to the issue of hijab. For example, my country follows the Maaliki madhhab, the imams of which say that “that which is apparent” [al-Noor 24:33] refers to the face and hands. In addition to that, the face-veil is virtually banned in my country, i.e., you could never wear it in your daily life, such as wearing it at work or in school. There are laws that ban it and the gloves. Although personally I am fully convinced about the face-veil, I cannot wear it. What is your ruling on that? Because every time I listen to tapes about hijab from Shaykhs from another madhhab, I feel that my hijab is not Islamically acceptable, and I understand from their words that I am currently unveiled and making a wanton display of myself (tabarruj) and I am a cause of fitnah among this ummah. What should we do, as we are confused?.
