On the day of Eid, a man did sa‘i, without having done tawaf, and he delayed tawaf until the third day, based on the fact that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “…do it; it does not matter.” Is what he did correct?

He did sa‘i on the day of Eid and delayed tawaf al-ifaadah until the following day
Question: 109369
Answer
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.
What he did is valid, because when someone asked the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), I did sa‘i before tawaf, he said: “It does not matter.” End quote.
