Then what about gifts that the teachers
give to the principal, for example when she recovers from illness or after she gives
birth, if it is known that the principal also gives the teachers gifts on similar
occasions?
We put this question to Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah preserve him, who replied as follows:
If this is a two-way exchange of gifts, then there is nothing wrong with it.
