&#8220;Those who break the fast before it is time to do so.&#8221; This hadeeth points to the enormity of the sin of the one who breaks his fast during the day in Ramadan deliberately with no excuse.

&#8220;Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.&#8221; This hadeeth points to the virtue of umrah in Ramadan and indicates that it is equivalent in reward to Hajj.

“Whoever gives iftar to a fasting person will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” This hadeeth is indicative of the virtue of giving iftar (“breakfast”) to those who are fasting, and shows that there is a great reward for that, namely a reward equivalent to that of the one who is fasting.

&#8220;Eat suhoor, for in suhoor there is blessing.&#8221; This hadeeth indicates that the fasting person is commanded to eat suhoor because there is a great deal of goodness and blessing, both spiritual and worldly, in it.

“There are three whose du’aa’ is not rejected: a just ruler, the fasting person when he breaks his fast and the prayer of the oppressed person. It rises above the clouds and the gates of heaven are opened for it, and the Lord, may He be glorified, says, ‘By My Glory I will answer you even if it is after a while.’”

Sha`ban is a month to which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadan, and it is a month in which deeds are lifted up to the Lord of the worlds.

It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: When the (last) ten (days of Ramadan) began, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would stay awake at night, wake his family, strive hard (in worship) and tie his izaar tight. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2024; Muslim, 1174. 
This hadeeth indicates that the last ten nights of Ramadaan are different from the others because of more acts of worship such as prayer, dhikr, and reading Qur’aan. The Mother of the Believers ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) described our Prophet and example Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as follows: 


He would stay awake at night, wake his family and tie his izaar tight
