What are the conditions of Du`a so that the Du`a will be answered and accepted by Allah?23-10-2023Al-Masjid al-Aqsa is not the Temple and was not built on its ruins
I was speaking to an Israeli woman recently, and she told me that al-Masjid al-Aqsa was built on the ruins of a Jewish temple that was built by the Prophet Sulayman (peace be upon him). I said to her: Rather it was a masjid (mosque) from the first day. She laughed and said: There was no Islam at that time, so how could there be a masjid! Sulayman was a Jewish king, and his kingdom was a Jewish kingdom called Judah, and everyone who lived at that time was Jewish. Is what she said true? How did the Children of Israel go astray and change the Torah that Musa brought to them, and they persisted in their misguidance even after many prophets came to them, such as Sulayman (peace be upon him) and others? What is the true history of al-Masjid al-Aqsa? What is meant by the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel?22-10-2023Can One Accept Prizes Given by Stores in Islam?

Allah has enabled me to fast alternate days. On Fridays, my family meets for breakfast and everyone has to attend. Because I am fasting sometimes, I do not attend, because the day on which I am fasting coincides with Friday in the first week and does not coincide with it in the second week, and so on… This upsets my mother, as she wants everyone to attend and not be absent. She says to me: Do not fast on Friday, and fast for two days after that if you want. Can I do what my mother is telling me to do, without missing out on the reward for fasting alternate days?21-10-2023Passing in Front of Someone Who Is Praying
One time, by mistake, I told some women in a prayer room, who wanted to pray but were waiting for some women to pray so they could pass in front of them, I told them that it was okay since it was a prayer room, and we do pass in front of others in the Masjids. But I have recently learnt that you can only pass in front of others when the congregation takes place, and otherwise you cannot and the person praying must stop the person from passing or else the person passing is a devil. I told a lot of women there this, and I am sincerely sorry for speaking without knowledge and have asked Allah (swt) to forgive me, but I feel guilty for spreading wrong information which they might take to be true, and might even pass on to others! What can I do, and would the sin of these people come on to me? Can you please also tell me what should one do in a Masjid, where people usually pass by in front of you when you are just praying normally (not in congregation)? Does this apply to the Masjids at Makkah and Madinah also?21-10-2023He donated land to build a mosque, then he wanted to build on top of it a meeting place for his extended family

I own a contracting company and I want to run my business in a manner that pleases Allah; I do not want to begin my project with anything that Allah has forbidden. I intended to give some money as a gift to anyone who brings projects to our company, because I cannot get any work, since the consulting engineering companies have engineers who do not advise their clients to go to any contracting companies except those who give a kickback to these engineers in return for awarding their contracts to their companies. I do not know whether it is permissible to pay this money to these engineers, especially since they take it without the knowledge of the owners of these engineering consultancy companies. I have a grandfather who is stingy with his property… He has quite a few useful books that he bought when he was young, including some useful Islamic books, some of which are out of print and not available in the market. If a man is junub and he cut his nails or hair, is there any blame on him for that? I am short-tempered and quick to swear oaths, and I often break the oaths that I swear. I do not know how many expiations I owe for broken oaths. I want to fulfill what I owe of expiations. What should I do? Is it permissible, in expiation of the oath, to invite family and relatives to lunch? If I swore an oath to divorce my wife (if the oath is broken) and broke it, does that require expiation?
