Saying “ ‘Ali karrama Allaah wajhahu (Ali, may Allaah honour his face)”
Question: 11999
How correct is it to say, “ ‘Ali karrama Allaah wajhahu (Ali, may Allaah honour his face)”?
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.
There is no basis for saying this specifically for ‘Ali
(may Allaah be pleased with him). It is an example of the exaggeration
of the Shi’a.
May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad and his family and
companions, and grant them peace.
