I am studying in Turkey. I have a transit pass, and this pass is cheaper than the regular passes that some people use; the pass is only for students and cannot be used by anyone except the person to whom it was issued. This year I am not going to study in the University because of work, and there is someone who is working with me and he needs my transit pass. Can I give it to him? Isn’t that cheating?

Ruling on a worker using a low-cost transit pass that is exclusively for students
Question: 225206
Answer
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.
So long as this transit pass is only given to students, and it is not allowed for anyone to use it except the one to whom it was issued, it is not permissible for you to give it to anyone else, because that will come under the heading of consuming people’s wealth unlawfully, and you will have helped that worker to take something that he is not entitled to.
And Allah knows best.
