If a man marries a woman on the condition that he will not marry another wife, then she has the right to leave him if he does take another wife.


Can a Woman Deny Her Husband a Second Wife in Islam?

A father puts the    condition that he should get something for himself in addition to the mahr which is agreed    to for his daughter at the time of the wedding contract (nikaah)

Her parents do not    want her to be alone with her husband until after the waleemah (wedding party)

A    marriage contract cannot be invalidated by the passage of time, no matter how long

The marriage contract may be made verbally by means of an offer on the part of the bride’s guardian (e.g. “I marry my daughter off to you”) and acceptance on the part of the groom (e.g. “I accept”).
