He died and left behind a mother, a father, a wife, nine sons and six daughters
Question: 99960
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.
If these are the only heirs, then the mother gets one-sixth, the father gets one-sixth, the wife gets one-eighth, and the children get the rest with each male getting the share of two females.
For the estate to be divided mathematically among the heirs, it should be divided into 576 equal parts. The father gets 96 parts, the mother gets 96 parts, the wife gets 72 parts, each son gets 26 parts and each daughter gets 13 parts.
i.e.
The father’s share is 538,000 x 96 ÷ 576 = 89,666.7
The mother’s share is 538,000 x 96 ÷ 576 = 89,666.7
The wife’s share is 538,000 x 72 ÷ 576 = 67,250
The share of each son is 538,000 x 26 ÷ 576 = 24,284.7
The share of each daughter is 538,000 x 13 ÷ 576 = 12,142.4
And Allaah knows best.
