Zakah on wealth is one of the five pillars of Islam. Whoever denies it is a disbeliever and whoever withholds it is a rebellious evildoer. Zakat Al-Fitr is not one of the pillars of Islam, and the one who denies it is not a disbeliever.


The Difference between Zakah on Wealth and Zakat Al-Fitr

It is not permissible to give zakah to one on whom you are obliged to spend

It is permissible to give Zakat Al-Fitr on behalf of one person to one person, and it is also permissible to distribute it among a number of people.
