Etiquette of Giving Advice in Islam
Etiquette of giving advice in Islam includes: • Your motive for giving advice should be love of good for your brother and hating for anything bad to befall him. • You should be sincere when giving advice, seeking thereby to please Allah. • That advice should be free of any element of deceit or betrayal. • You should not intend when giving advice to shame your brother or put him down. • The advice should be given in a spirit of brotherhood and friendship, with no element of rebuke or harshness. • Giving advice should be done on the basis of knowledge and clear proof. • The advice should be given privately, not out loud in front of people, unless doing so serves a clear interest that outweighs any negative consequences.131,604How can the Hour come upon the worst of people when the Trumpet blast will come when people are dead?

They are not blameworthy in and of themselves, but they are not the basic aims, rather they are complementary qualities. If they are present, then that is ideal, otherwise religious commitment is the basis of all goodness.101,496Calling upon Allah with the supplication of Dhu’n-Nun
7,831How Will People Pass Over the Sirat?
The Sirat is a bridge that will be set up over Hell, over which people will pass according to their deeds. Some will pass as fast as the blink of an eye, or as fast as lightning, or as fast as the wind, or as fast as swift horses. Some will cross running, some walking, some crawling, and some will be snatched and thrown into the Fire, each according to his deeds.93,444Good dreams are one of the parts of prophethood; what are the other parts?
