1- If the husband is away from his wife for more than six months, and his wife agrees to that and he has left her in a safe place, there is no problem.
2- If she did not agree to that, then she may refer her case to the Shari’ah judges to determine whether her husband has a sound excuse or he has to return or the marriage may be annulled.


How Long Can Husband and Wife Live Separately in Islam?

Is his spending on his wife who is also a relative regarded as kindness towards her family?

Her husband is mentally ill and hurts her. How should she deal with him? Does he have any rights?
