Belief in the Angels
Recording Angels in Islam
Allah has appointed the recording angels to record every deed—good and bad—that a person performs. These noble scribes bear witness to human actions, ensuring that every individual will face their records of deeds on the Day of Judgement.19,307Why has Allah appointed some of the angels in charge of some affairs of the universe, even though He has no need of them?
Why Was Iblis Commanded to Prostrate to Adam?
When Allah commanded the angels to prostrate to Adam, He included Iblis in that because, even though he was not one of them, he was imitating them and doing deeds like theirs.58,469Can Babies See the Angels?
Seeing the angels and the jinn, in a form other than their true form, is possible. As for suggesting that only children can see that, we do not know of any text which speaks of that. This is a matter of the unseen, and we cannot say anything about it except on the basis of evidence, and there is no evidence to deny or affirm that.14,135What is the ruling on saying, “May the angels of the Most Gracious say Bismillah over you”?
There does not seem to be anything wrong with this phrase, and there is nothing to dictate that one should be strict about it or tell off anyone who says it. But saying “May the angels pray for forgiveness for you, and the like,” is more appropriate and is better.2,327The angels questioned Allah in order to find out and learn
Allah, may He be exalted, may be asked for the purpose of learning with humility, or He may be asked for the purpose of seeking guidance and knowledge, but He is not to be questioned by way of objection or disapproval of anything that He does, may He be glorified. The question of the angels was a question that was aimed at learning, for they were aware of the rights of their Lord, and they glorified and praised Him, for they are the ones who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and they do as they are commanded.7,016He is asking about what happens to the two angels who are appointed to record a person’s deeds after the person dies
3,915Why belief in in the Books is mentioned before belief in the Messengers
6,204It is essential to verify stories before narrating them and spreading them
The Muslim should verify what he tells and narrates, and he should not narrate anything before checking whether it is sound.14,518Is Ridwaan the name of the keeper of Paradise?
Conclusion: This name is not proven in the saheeh hadiths, but the scholars refer to the keeper of Paradise by this name, and they accepted this name; this issue in one in which there is room for leniency.29,737
