Belief in the Messengers
Are Prophets Infallible?
1. The Prophets are the best of mankind and the most noble of creation before Allah. The Prophets were infallible in conveying the message from Allah. They did not conceal anything that Allah had revealed to them, and they did not add anything from themselves. 2. With regard to the Prophets as people, they may make mistakes. This may be discussed as follows: 1- They do not commit major sins; 2- Matters that have nothing to do with conveying the message and the revelation; 3- Unintentional mistakes with regard to some worldly matters.110,954Why Must We Love the Prophet Muhammad?
Muslims love Prophet Muhammad the most for the following reasons: • Allah has commanded us to obey the Prophet. • Allah has told us that obedience to the Prophet is obedience to Him. • Allah has warned us against failing to obey Prophet Muhammad. • The Muslim’s faith cannot be complete unless he loves the Prophet and until the Prophet is dearer to him than his father, his son, his own self and all the people.102,969What Is the Status of Prophets in Islam?
Allah the Almighty has told us that He has granted excellence to some of the Prophets over the others. The Ummah unanimously agreed that the Messengers are superior to the Prophets, and the Messengers vary in status. The best of the Messengers and Prophets are five: Muhammad, Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa and `Isa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon all of them).8,833Were All Prophets Muslims?
1- Islam is the religion of all the Prophets. It appeared at the beginning of Prophethood, from the time of our father Adam, and all the messages called to Islam (submission to Allah) in terms of belief and basic rulings. 2- The believers who followed the earlier prophets were all Muslims in a general sense, and they will enter Paradise by virtue of their Islam.16,000Reviling any of the Prophets constitutes disbelief and apostasy

7,853Ruling on slandering the daughter of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
It is obligatory for the Muslims to respect the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), venerate him and declare him to be above all shortcomings. The religious texts indicate that deliberately speaking ill of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) constitutes disbelief (kufr). Speaking ill of the daughter is a great offence to the father, especially if the offence takes the form of slander, because people naturally feel that slander of the daughter would undermine the father’s status among people, and he would be shamed by that. Undoubtedly the one who slanders the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) causes great offence to her father (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and would undermine his status among people, so deliberately doing that constitutes disbelief (kufr). Please see the details of that and the views of the scholars in the long answer.3,824Were the people of Dawood and Sulaymaan (peace be upon them) a disbelieving people?
7,294Did Allah Speak Directly to Prophet Muhammad?
Allah has told us of the ways in which He sent revelation to His Messengers, one of which was speaking from behind a veil. Allah spoke directly to some Prophets such as Adam, Musa and Muhammad. Allah spoke directly to Prophet Muhammad during the Night Journey without any intermediary.53,084What Does Messiah Mean?
Messiah is a title of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). He was given this title because Allah purified him of sins or he was anointed with blessings or because when he touched the sick with his hands, they were healed.37,460
