2,138Does Repentance Expiate False Oaths?
A false oath may be expiated by sincere repentance. There is no sin for which repentance cannot be accepted, for Allah has opened the door of repentance to every sinner.25,619Expiation for Multiple Broken Oaths
1. If a person swore many oaths and broke them but did not offer an expiation for any of them, then there are two scenarios: 1- If the many oaths had to do with a single matter, then this requires one expiation. 2- If the oaths had to do with different matters, the majority of scholars are of the view that he must offer several expiations, and this is the correct view. 2. If you are not certain of the number of oaths, then try to work out the approximate number, then offer expiations for that approximate number. 3.
