Should Women Fast If There Is No Postpartum Bleeding?
There is a woman who gave birth 22 days ago, but she does not have any postpartum bleeding. Should she pray? Or should she wait for forty days? She bled after having an injection for temporary contraception; what should she do?
I have a female relative who is married; she is thirty years old, has diabetes and high blood pressure and she had a stroke last year that affected her health in general. Then she had an injection that would provide contraception for three months. Before that time ended, she started to bleed, a light flow that lasted from before Ramadan until after Ramadan ended, and she continued to pray and fast. She also told me that now she has made up 16 days. What is the ruling on this injection in her case? Should she make up the prayers or the fasts, or what should she do? What is the ruling on her situation in general?.Her period was longer than usual on several occasions. What should she do with regard to fasting?
In my first year of menstruating, my period would last for 6 or 7 days, but in the second year it began to last for approximately nine days. At the end of the second year and in the third year, it began to last between two and three weeks. In Ramadan it lasted 18 days, starting three days before Ramadan, and lasting for 15 days of Ramadan. What is the ruling on that with regard to making up missed fasts?.Her foetus died after 66 days gestation and was miscarried after 100 days. Is her bleeding nifaas?
The foetus died at the age of 66 days, but remained in my uterus for 35 days after that, then was miscarried. During that time, I was bleeding and I did not pray. Now, after the miscarriage, do I have to pray or should I wait until I become pure (i.e., the bleeding ends)? Should I make up the prayers that I missed or not?Can I Fast If I Am Spotting After Period?
I fasted four days in Ramadan, then my period came. After my period ended, I purified myself (did ghusl) and started fasting, but some drops of blood came out (“spotting”), then they stopped. Then when I purified myself and started fasting again, the spotting started again, and this lasted for the rest of the month of Ramadan. What is the answer concerning this? When should the postpartum woman do ghusl?
My wife gave birth a week ago, and I want to ask about when the time comes for her to do ghusl. There is a tradition which says that the woman should do ghusl a certain number of days after giving birth – is this true? Does this tradition have anything to do with Islamic teachings? Can a menstruating woman sit in a mosque in which Jumu’ah prayers are not held?
At lunchtime I stay in the mosque because of my work. Is it permissible for me to stay there during my monthly period? Please note that it does not have a minaret and Jumu’ah prayers are not held there. She miscarried the foetus at two months and stopped praying because she thought it was nifaas
I had a miscarriage at approximately seven weeks. After the miscarriage I did not pray for fifteen days, out of ignorance on my part, because I thought that I came under the ruling of nifaas and I was bleeding. She got a yellowish discharge after forty days of nifaas; can she pray and fast?
Directly after forty days (of nifaas) I fasted to make up what I owed from Ramadaan, and whilst I was fasting I found that there was a yellowish discharge with no blood, but this was the usual time for my period. My question is: is my fast valid or do I have to repeat it and make it up again? Please note that I am praying and I did not stop praying because most of the time I have the signs of tahaarah (being pure) and I did not see anything that would make me stop praying. She gets a sticky white discharge before her period and a week afterwards
One or two days before my period comes, I get a sticky white discharge, and again a week after the period ends. What is the ruling on praying and fasting on these days? Do I have to repeat wudoo’ for minor impurity only or for major impurity?.If the menses lasts longer than usual
If a woman’s monthly period is usually eight or seven days, then on one or two occasions it lasts longer than that, what is the ruling?.Ruling on water and blood that comes before giving birth
What is the ruling on the liquid that comes out of a pregnant woman two or three days before giving birth, which is a thin liquid that looks like water [amniotic fluid]? Does this mean that she cannot pray or fast?.She passed blood that was brown in colour and then in the form of a black thread
My period was late and I thought I was pregnant, but 10 days later I passed some blood that was brown in colour, and on another day it was in the form of a black thread. What should I do?.She did not know that if the menstruating woman becomes pure before Fajr she has to pray Maghrib and ‘Isha’
I read recently that a woman must pray the previous prayer to the time of when her period stopped, or join two prayers. I did not know this before and I am 38 years old now.Her menses has ended; can she wear the clothes that she was wearing during her period?
I had my period. Is it permissible for me, after the period ends, to put on the clothes that I was wearing during my period or must I purify them again?.Does a menstruating woman have to change her clothes once her period ends?

A woman brought on her period by using medicine, and she stopped praying. Should she make up the prayers or not?.Her menses started after the time for Zuhr began; should she make it up when her period is over?
If my period starts after a prayer’s time starts, Dhuhr for example, and before I pray, even though I had enough time to pray. When shall I make this prayer up? Is it when I make ghusl after my period stops even if it was Maghrib time? Or when the time of the first Dhuhr after ghusl comes? If my period stops after Isha and I make ghusl, do I have to pray Maghrib and Isha?.She is not sure whether she became pure before Fajr; should she pray and fast?
On the last day of my monthly period, I saw some yellowish discharge about two hours before the adhaan of Fajr, then I went to sleep and I did not see whether that discharge stopped before Fajr or not. In the morning I noticed that the discharge had stopped, then I waited for a little while, then the adhaan for Zuhr had been given, and after that I did ghusl. Do I have to make up the prayers that I missed or should I offer Zuhr prayer only? Do I have to make up the fast of that day after Ramadan?.A spot of blood is not a sign of reaching puberty
My mother’s friend has a daughter who is 13 years old. She found a drop of blood in her underwear two years ago. The mother advised her to fast that previous Ramadaan; as she thought that the drop of blood is a sign of puberty. The mother did not notice any sign of puberty on her daughter since that time. The mother is asking now if her daughter must fast, bear in mind that her daughter has already fasted the previous Ramadaan.
