According to the more correct opinion, if a person misses prayers when he is travelling and makes them up when he is at home, he should make them up in a shortened form as if he prayed them whilst travelling.

There is a concession allowing Maghrib and `Isha’ prayers to be joined at the time of Maghrib when there is rain that soaks people’s clothes and will cause hardship when going to the mosque for `Isha’ prayer.

It is permissible to miss Jumu`ah and prayers in congregation in the event of heavy rain, cold wind or snow which is bothersome to people and makes it difficult for them to go to Jumu`ah.

You can pray Dhuhr and Asr or Maghrib and `Isha’ together in these cases: for the traveller, for one who is sick, for one who is breastfeeding, one who is unable to purify himself with water or to do Tayammum for every prayer, one who is unable to work out the time, and one who is suffering from Istihadah.
