Prostration when reading Quran and Prostration of thanksgiving
Ruling on the imam doing the prostration of gratitude (sujood ash-shukr) during the Friday khutbah
I am an imam and khateeb. During the Friday khutbah, when I mention one of the kinds of Allah’s mercy, sometimes I like to prostrate out of gratitude to Allah when I am on the minbar, which is a modern minbar without steps, especially during this blessed month (Ramadan) during which acts of worship bring a greater reward. Is that permissible? Are the members of the congregation required to follow me?Should the prostration of recitation be repeated if the verse of prostration is repeated for the purpose of memorisation?
During memorisation of the quran we have to recite the aayaath many times to perfect them. What should we do if there is sajdah of tilaawah in those aayaath. Do we perform sujood as many times we recite the verses or can we just do one sajdah at the end of memorisation?.Are there conditions for the prostration of gratitude?

Because it is said that if you come to a verse in which there is a sajdah (prostration), instead of prostrating you can say the tasbeeh mentioned above. My colleague is a religious brother he prays obligatory and Sunnah prayers. I found him once prostrating to Allah a single prostrating which is not the prostrating of prayers, forgetting, reciting, or thanking. It is prostration he does at any time. In this sajdah he mentions Allah by the narrated adhkaar of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH). His evidence for this is the Hadeeth “Assist me in helping you with much prostration”.
