Is It Permissible For a Surgeon to Break the Fast?
A surgeon should strive to find all possible means to observe fasting as Allah has enjoined. If a surgeon tried all possible means and they did not work out and he cannot find other work in which he can fast and he will be harmed by giving up his job, then it is permissible for him to break the fast on the days on which fasting causes considerable hardship.35,888He told his wife to make food for him during the day in Ramadan!
