How can a son reconcile with his father when there is a dispute between them?

He was afraid that his sick father might die because he refused to eat, so he allowed the doctors to force-feed him; is he regarded as disobedient towards his father?

He stays up all night, and his parents are telling him not to do that; does he have to obey them?
